CM LIFE: MEAN TWEETS

Central Michigan Life (CM-Life) is a student-run newspaper at Central Michigan University. The paper created a social media campaign inspired by the “Mean Tweets” segment from Jimmy Kimmel! Live! Instead of celebrities, CM-Life had reporters, editors, advertising managers, and designers read negative tweets about the paper. 

I created the title sequence and designed the tweet backgrounds. The concept is of two Twitter birds fighting. As they clash, a cloud of dust forms and the title card pops onto the screen.
